Multiplicity Group

The Multiplicity Group is designed for women who have what is called Dissociative Identity Disorder or Dissociative Disorder, NOS. You do not have to have been formally diagnosed with the disorder to be included in this group. You only have to have a sense of fragmentation, hear voices that are experienced as different people inside of your body or they feel like different parts of yourself take control of your body. People with Dissociative Disorders often experience a lot of amnesia, loss of time, hear voices inside their heads talking, humming, chatting, or commenting on one's actions. People with dissociative issues feel like they are separate from the world around them. They have a sense of being distant from the things that go on around them. They will also typically feel as though their bodies do not belong to themselves. This is a closed group and only new members may be included if the group agrees. This is to keep it a safe group emotionally and physically. Not everyone is appropriate for this group, even if you do have Dissociative Identity Disorder or Dissociative Disorder, NOS. People who have a dissociative problem but do NOT experience separate sense of identities are not appropriate for this group.

The cost of this group is $35 per session and the group meets every other week.

NOTE: The current Multiplicity Group is a mix of the Survivor's Group and Extreme Abuse/Sadistic Abuse Group. Several members of the current group have DID but not all. Everyone is an extreme abuse survivor.
